Abstract

Common autoimmune diseases like rheumatoid arthritis (RA) have been linked to early mortality, general problems, increased debility, and social inequality. Rheumatoid arthritis is now treated with a wide range of medications, including biologics, steroids, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, disease-modifying antirheumatic medications, and Janus Kinase Inhibitors. Machine learning (ML) is the study of using data and algorithms to mimic human learning processes in artificial intelligence (AI) and progressively increase its accuracy over time. Machine learning models can be used to diagnose rheumatoid arthritis. This book chapter will examine preventive actions to be implemented in the fight against rheumatoid arthritis with the aid of ML models. ML-based therapy models will also be investigated. This book chapter will focus on the difficulties and potential applications of machine learning models for diagnosing, preventing, and treating rheumatoid arthritis.
