Abstract

This chapter investigates the relationship between food imagery, culinary experiences, and revisit intentions among bleisure international tourists, focusing on the culinary assets of Delhi, India. This study explores how culinary experiences contribute to the overall destination image and influence tourists' intentions to revisit. The research objectives include examining the relationship between urban destination food image and the overall destination image of Delhi, as well as analyzing the role of Delhi's destination food image in shaping revisiting intentions among international tourists. Data was collected from 395 international tourists visiting culinary hotspots in Delhi, and analysis was conducted using structural equation modelling and path analysis techniques. The findings of this study provide valuable insights for destination marketers and policymakers seeking to leverage culinary assets to enhance tourism experiences and stimulate repeat visits in bleisure travel contexts.
