Abstract

This study examines the impact of Digital Transformation on the green innovation performance of Spanish wineries, focusing on the mediating role of Green Knowledge Sharing and the moderating influence of Top Management Environmental Awareness in this relationship. Age, size, and Protected Designation of Origin membership are included as control variables to enhance the accuracy of the analysis. A conceptual model, grounded in previous research, is tested using structural equation modeling with data from 196 Spanish wineries collected between September 2022 and January 2023. Results reveal a positive relationship between Digital Transformation and green innovation performance, with Green Knowledge Sharing partially mediating this link and Top Management Environmental Awareness positively moderating the Green Knowledge Sharing-green innovation performance connection.
