Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigate India as a possible birthright citizenship destination. It will do this by assessing the legal framework, appeals, and important aspects like the country's sociopolitical environment, healthcare system, and economic prospects. The study examines and evaluates important variables that affect India's viability and allure as a birthright citizenship destination. The research provides a thorough grasp of the subject by synthesizing existing academic, legal, and policy-oriented literature through the use of an organised literature review process. The assessment ends with suggestions for future research and policy development that are aimed at legislators, solicitors and prospective applicants. The results are intended to further the conversation about birthright citizenship and offer useful information to those who are thinking about India as a potential source for this legal status.
