Abstract

With the aid of cloud computing, numerous services are accessible via the Internet. Among other things, these technologies include storing, managing and processing data, networking, servers, database and software storage. The study aims to recognize the most crucial factors that instigate the Potential User's Behaviour Toward increased usage of Cloud Computing. Technology experts anticipate that as cloud computing becomes more and more popular, most organizations will switch to it by 2025, ending their need for desktop resources. The study aims to assess the impact of certain factors like Perceived Ease of Use and Availability, Security and Privacy, Reliability and Relative Advantage in influencing the intention of the user's towards the usage of cloud computing. Data were gathered using a questionnaire and a convenient sampling method. The data is analysed using the Smart PLS-SEM technique with a sample size of 191. The research finding indicates that all four factors taken in the study significantly influence the users' intention toward the usage of cloud computing.

Introduction

Cloud computing is a prevalent term nowadays. It simply means on-demand delivery of resources like storage space, servers, software, and others over the internet. Cloud computing is being used daily in one manner or another. It probably allows you to do anything online such as sending emails, editing documents, or watching videos and many more. Some simple yet well-known examples of cloud computing are Amazon Prime and Netflix. They entirely rely on computational cloud servers to manage video streaming and provide near-instant video playback to their customers. It requires no setup Investments, encourages energy savings, reduces redundancies etc. Everywhere there is a problem with stiff hardware disks, cloud comes to the rescue. Though it has its disadvantages. Like downtime in cloud servers affects every single organization using them leading to major losses and creating problems for users using them. Since all the content is provided under one umbrella, the company cannot function in any other way (Azure, 2021). Due to its high savings and investment rate when compared to other Asian nations, India is quickly becoming the next major investment destination (Raj, Verma, et al., 2018). In this era of hyper-automation, technology is seen as an enabler or a means of spreading knowledge (Oye et al., 2014). Following water, electricity, oil or gas, and telephone, cloud computing has been named the fifth essential utility (Arias et al., 2012; Sabi et al., 2016). Technology experts anticipate that as cloud computing becomes more and more popular, most organizations and businesses will switch to it by 2025, ending their need for desktop resources (Anderson & Rainie, 2010). Cloud Computing is used now a days in almost all the sectors. Over numerous decades, the Indian banking industry has seen a significant transition and evolved significantly (Raj, Jain, et al., 2018).
