Abstract

The basic principle of utilizing Artificial Intelligence (AI) in network and mobile security has effectively changed the way threats are exposed and shut down. AI-powered solutions increase the capability of identifying and alerting in case of cyberattack at real-time, thereby reducing the risks to escalate. Through a subset of AI known as machine learning (ML) algorithms, ML algorithms can further evaluate network traffic data and determine what is considered abnormal behavior in the system that may indicate signs of malware, phishing or intrusion attempts into your security perimeter. These models evolve meaning always learning and improving in new training on attack vectors without the need for a human to retrain frequently. AI helps in reinforcing the security of the device against advanced levels of ransomware, data breaches and unauthorized access as part of challenges encountered in mobile security. This chapter comprehensively explore the fortifying the digital world and shielding smart infrastructures with artificial intelligence (AI) enabled malware and threat detection.
