Foundations of Sustainable Development: Geospatial Data Perspective

Abstract

The demand for geospatial information is growing rapidly across diverse sectors, including urban planning, agriculture, disaster management, and public health. Geospatial information has become a crucial requirement for sustainable development across all countries and sectors. This chapter aims to investigate and establish the rationale of geospatial data for sustainable development with the help of various use cases. The study also provides recommendations for enabling access to geospatial data.
