Abstract

Over the past few decades, the manufacturing industry has become a hotbed of research on the rapidly developing trend of smart technology. Numerous cutting-edge technologies, including the internet of things, industrial internet of things (IOT), cyberphysical production systems, artificial intelligence, block chains, and systematic data analysis, were included in smart technology (ST). In order to close the gap between humans and machines, we give an overview of various smart technologies that can be used to regulate the sophisticated characteristics of computer and sensor technologies. The entire literature review on ST to improve machinery equipment production and maintenance, as well as prospective threats to ST, is presented in this research article. Additionally, the survey report comparing the adoption rate currently to that of the previous five years is included in this article in order to reduce the amount of human labor required in the industrial industry through the use of various sensors, cost-effective methodologies, and real-time outcomes.
