Abstract

The introduction of generative AI technologies has brought about an abrupt shift in the area of medical imaging analysis. In this comprehensive investigation, the authors look at how generative AI has been used and how it has been improved for medical picture analysis. An exhaustive analysis of the methods, difficulties, and developments in this dynamic field is the goal of this research. The limitations of traditional medical imaging modalities are thoroughly discussed in the first part of the chapter. This foundation must be laid before generative adversarial networks (GANs) and other models of generative artificial intelligence may be applied. The purpose of this thorough investigation is to catalog and evaluate noteworthy trends and emerging problems in medical imaging-related generative artificial intelligence (AI) research. The revolutionary influence of generative artificial intelligence (AI) on medical imaging analysis is better understood after reading this extensive review. By synthesizing and detecting gaps, this project benefits academics and healthcare professionals.
