Welcome to the New Brave World of “Human Body Digitalization”!
For a long time, humanity considered that achieved its evolutionary peak and nothing to evolve. Today those who try to foresee the future of humankind and his evolution are thinking of cyborg image, a combination of a biological creature and a technological masterpiece (Popescu, F. & Scarlat, Cz. 2017). Figure 1 illustrates the long road to human body digitalization - “mating” with technology.

Electronics world is progressing at a very fast rate and today there are many revolutionary ideas, projects already underway that will end up “tomorrow” or in a few years. The three authors, specialized in electronic field, predict that with the unprecedented development of electronics, there will be also a major change of paradigm in medicine, security, transportation, as well as in industrial business and marketing arena.
The study focuses on four directions of analysis:
- •
Firstly is presented a short historical evolution of electronic world.
- •
Secondly is analyzed the brave new world of chips and biometrics.
- •
Thirdly subcutaneous devices - merger of biological and electronic world.
- •
Eventually, authors predict and discuss how chips and biometrics networks within human body could help as Early Warning (EWS) system for medicine, for a safer society, for traffic safety, for managers and marketers in new business model in marketing arena and for managing complex large-scale industrial projects in transnational environment.
The general idea of warning is a broad concept. Military systems and security agencies have used Early warning systems in order to identify threats and risks to national security. Nowadays, however, besides military organizations and security agencies, the concept of early warning system is used with great success in the international security environment stability (UN, NATO, OSCE, etc.), environmental protection, natural disasters prediction, control epidemics, protection of critical infrastructure, business and project management predictions (Popescu, Fl., Scarlat Cz., 2015). From the author’s perspective, early warning concept applies to almost any areas in which it is important to obtain clues as soon as possible about problems, some emerging.
The trigger point to approach concept of early warning from the perspective of human body digitalization process was the fact that last year, in 2016, in Davos, were discussed and anticipated the future drivers of changing the world of economy, medicine, security, industry and marketing strategy and from the point of view of the authors of this futuristic study, global strategists have failed to take into account the human body digitalization process.
The purpose of this work was to shape a new early warning systems dimension in support of humanity with the help of advanced technologies incorporated within the human body. This research is a very new futuristic approach, which tries to see beyond the borders of traditional early warning systems.
The study resulted from an office research, analyzing different sources of information in the field of new technologies. The present paper aims to warn different fields as medicine, security, traffic safety, business and project management on the evolution to a new technology incorporated within the human body. Authors have had this goal because they consider that the digitalization of the human body will most likely conduct to a radical transformation of humanity.
