Abstract

Amniotic fluid is an important fluid for unborn babies. This liquid surrounds the unborn baby (fetus) and helps to improve the stages of growth. The main purpose of this liquid is to proper development of lungs, bone growth, and to protect the baby from outside injury. At the time of pregnancy, the healthcare providers will give more concentration on the part of monitoring the amniotic fluid. The reduction and increasing rate of this liquid gives major problem in fetus growth as well as give the more complications in delivery. In today's strategy, nearly eight percent of the people are having problems with amniotic fluid. So, the analyzing the correlation factors and the level of amniotic fluid is a very important process to avoid problems in pregnancy. For this purpose, this chapter gives machine learning models to identify the correlation and analyze the levels of liquid present in fetus.

Introduction

Amniotic fluid is a clear and yellow based liquid, which plays a major role for all the pregnancy women to maintain the womb in a safety manner. At starting, this fluid is created by the water coming from the mother’s body. In slowly, most portion of this liquid is made up of urine of the baby. Nearly the 20 weeks of gestation, all the fluids are filled by the urine. This liquid contains the antibodies, hormones and all the essential nutrients that used to help baby’s from outside injury. This liquid is swallow by the baby’s and coming out as a urine. Another important function of1 this liquid is to act as a cushion for the baby’s umbilical cord. If the amount of amniotic fluid is too low or high, then it will make a problem in the fetal. The level of amniotic liquid is 5-25cm. If the level is less than or equal to 5cm, then it shows the low in fluid. This low level of amniotic fluid is called as oligohydramnios. The level of fluid is 25cm or more than that is called as polyhydramnios (High amniotic Fluid). In this situation, it will make pressure to the nearest organs and make some complications in pregnancy. Sometimes, the low level of fluid is increased by drinking of more water.

The AFI values of mean, standard deviation, and percentile is represented in the table 1 with gestational age. Gestational age refers that the week of pregnancy period. In sometime meconium is also formed in the fluid. It means that, the liquid is in the colour of blue or green. This liquid is entered in to the lungs will form the breathing problem for the baby’s after the birth. The responsible for the amniotic is as follows: Control the temperature, Protecting the fetus, infection control and etc. If the pregnancy women are having the problem of diabetes, hypertension and dehydration, then leads to reduce the levels of fluid (oligohydramnios). Infections, problems in blood cells and the diabetes are causes the polyhydramnios. Both the factors are making the more complications in pregnancy. So, the classification of fluid and calculate the correlation is a very important to reduce the complications. This paper gives the machine learning approach for correlation and classification for fast diagnosis.
