Abstract

The emergence of Artificial Intelligence (AI) offers transformative possibilities for media education, particularly as traditional teaching methods struggle to keep pace with the rapidly evolving digital media landscape. This chapter examines the potential of AI to enrich media education by enabling personalized learning experiences, fostering creativity and innovation, and enhancing critical thinking and media literacy. Using a qualitative research approach that includes a literature review, expert interviews, and case studies, this chapter identifies the primary applications of AI in media education, evaluates its impact on student learning, addresses ethical considerations, and provides practical recommendations for effective AI integration.
