Abstract

This chapter explores the roles of stakeholders in promoting Responsible Tourism Practices (RTP) within star-rated hotels in the Delhi-NCR region, with a particular focus on the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) as a transformative tool. Employing a conceptual research design, the study synthesizes existing literature across disciplines such as sustainable tourism, stakeholder theory, and hospitality management to develop a comprehensive framework for stakeholder engagement. The findings reveal that internal stakeholders as employees and department managers are essential for embedding sustainability into daily operations, while external stakeholders, including regulatory bodies and sustainability experts, provide necessary oversight and expertise. Additionally, the study concludes by highlighting how AI can enhance stakeholder engagement by streamlining operations, facilitating data-driven decision-making, and fostering transparency.
