Abstract

This chapter investigates the relationships between self-esteem, small group socialization, and workplace communication behaviour among women teachers in higher education institutions in Karnataka, India. Using standardized instruments, data was collected from 509 participants through offline and online surveys. Results reveal strong positive correlations between self-esteem and both small group socialization and workplace communication behaviour. Linear regression analyses confirm the predictive capabilities of self-esteem on these variables. The findings contribute to understanding professional dynamics among women educators and offer insights for supporting their career development.
