As technological advancements and evolving industries need to reshape job requirements, foundational academic subjects alone are insufficient to prepare students for future careers. The chapter highlights vital 21st-century skills that are increasingly prioritized by employers. It examines innovative educational approaches, including project-based learning, blended learning, and industry partnerships, to equip students with these essential skills better. Challenges such as rapid technological change, resource limitations, and rigid curricula are discussed alongside opportunities for improvement through industry collaboration and lifelong learning. The chapter concludes with a call for educational reform that integrates these competencies into curricula and assessments, ensuring students are prepared for the complexities of the modern workforce.
