Abstract

This study explores the key drivers and obstacles of innovation in achieving sustainable development goals (SDGs) within emerging economies. Utilizing a multi-case study approach, this research identifies and analyzes the critical factors that either promote or hinder innovation aimed at sustainability. Key drivers, such as governmental policies, financial incentives, and technological advancements, are assessed alongside obstacles like regulatory barriers, resource constraints, and socio-economic disparities. The findings highlight the complex interplay between these factors and provide actionable insights for policymakers and stakeholders to enhance innovation efforts. By offering a comparative analysis across different emerging markets, this study contributes to a deeper understanding of how innovation can be leveraged to achieve SDGs.This work aims to inform future strategies and policies to foster innovation-driven sustainability in emerging economies.
