Abstract

Robotic Process Automation (RPA), according to their whitepaper, can be used to automate rule-based processes and, in this way, emulate human behavior. RPA interacts with the application layer of any application and has the ability to work across different apps. Taking the robot out of the human is the inevitable evolution of labor arbitrage. Its specific advantages, such as its affordability, scalability, and ease of deployment, make it more valuable. According to the chapter, in RPA, personnel in a firm can create computer software or “robots” to capture and interpret existing applications, conduct transactions, manipulate data, trigger reactions, and communicate with other digital systems. RPA is an application of technology. Any work process that is rule-based, workflow-driven, and repeatable can be assigned to a robot using RPA. This study also investigates if a robot-supported human-like interface could be a better choice for solving customer issues than people alone. For the research, they employed both quantitative and qualitative methods, including a questionnaire and an interview.

Introduction

“Robotic Process Automation (RPA) conceives a virtual workforce with talents equivalent to that of human beings,” according to the whitepaper. It is impossible to disregard the need of having a virtual workforce in order to maintain a competitive position in the market. As compared to other automation tools, RPA's three most important features are: (I) the ease of configuration and implementation, (II) RPA software's non-invasiveness, and (III) the enterprise safety of RPA. It's clear that RPA is a better alternative for enterprises, as it will decrease the burden on their personnel and help them maintain their competitive position in the marketplace. As a result, software robots can be used to perform all repetitive and unstructured jobs that minimize human workloads. It was discovered that RPA is being used by Artificial Intelligence (AI). They've proposed new capabilities that can be explored employing both technologies and all the possibilities of robotics. Advanced software and techniques such as artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), voice recognition (VR), and language communication (LC) will be used by RPA in the future to advance automation. Because of this, there is a need to integrate all of the digital transformation technologies.

Using the ICICI Bank's Smart Vault as a case study, Anuja performed research to see how robotics in banking affects lockers. This study also investigates if a robot-supported human-like interface could be a better choice for solving customer issues than people alone. For the research, they employed both quantitative and qualitative methods, including a questionnaire and an interview. Although robots would minimize the daily workload and make practically all processes reasonably simple, they found that human touch will still be essential for banking sector activities. Furthermore, even if the future of robotics looks bright, it may take longer to implement because change occurs gradually (Animesh et al., 2017; Buttar et al., 2005; Hortmann et al., 2019; Lee & Lim, 2018; Mienye et al., 2020).

In accordance with, the robotic procedure a study based on the e-commerce business found that automation is a good fit for any organization that needs to do a variety of simple and sophisticated operations using computer systems. Regardless of the industry, evaluating an organization's RPA capability should begin before deciding whether or not to automate a particular function. Robotic Process Automation (RPA) solutions have the potential to save businesses money while increasing the productivity and security of its personnel. For many highly trained individuals and apprentices, it has opened up new doors in their particular fields.

Because of this, we can infer from the above-mentioned literature that banks will be under increasing pressure to implement cutting-edge strategies in order to remain competitive. We can observe that certain banks are using robots to provide customer care in some of their branches. Automating back-office processes can reduce human errors and improve operational efficiency. A complete understanding of the RPA process, the main application areas of RPA, RPA's advantages and its importance in banking may be gained from these works of literary art. We hope to gain a better understanding of the benefits of RPA for loan processing in banks by keeping these considerations in mind.

A key component of digital companies is information and communication technology (ICT), which can improve operational efficiency and boost competitive advantage. Advanced digital technology and devices are widely used in today's Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR) period for innovation and value generation across industries. No industry is exempt from this. A growing number of health care providers around the world, particularly in developed economies, are making use of cutting-edge digital technologies. Improved treatment and operational efficiency can be achieved through the use of technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, smart sensors and robots, big data analytics, and the Internet of Things (IoT). Hewlett-Packard Enterprise company Aruba (2017) stated that more than 60% of hospitals globally had used IoT. Because of this, it is important to look into how modern digital gadgets effect customer-provider interactions in the healthcare industry. AI-supported technologies have recently been widely implemented in healthcare institutions in order to increase care service quality and efficiency. In light of the fact that artificial intelligence (AI) incorporates.
