Abstract

This chapter makes use of textual examples and description, as well as autoethnographic case study, to examine media storytelling and envisioning reality through storytelling. Attention is given to concepts of social justice, as well as implications for practice and further research. These implications include considerations of both text and readership, as well as explorations of criticality and notions of representation. A continued call for this kind of close reading of multiple texts and types of texts is central to the chapter.
