Abstract

In the contemporary landscape of corporate sustainability, understanding stakeholder perceptions of climate initiatives is paramount. This study explores the application of text mining and sentiment analysis techniques to evaluate corporate sustainability reports, social media posts, and stakeholder communications. By leveraging advanced natural language processing (NLP) tools, we aim to uncover the sentiment and thematic trends associated with corporate climate initiatives. The research focuses on analysing large datasets from various sources, including annual sustainability reports. Our findings indicate a diverse range of sentiments towards corporate climate actions, highlighting areas of both approval and criticism. By mapping these sentiments, the study provides insights into how companies can enhance their communication strategies to foster better stakeholder engagement and trust. Furthermore, this research underscores the importance of continuous monitoring and analysis of stakeholder feedback as a dynamic component of corporate sustainability practices. .
