Abstract

In the last quarter of the 20th century, globalization, which manifests itself and makes its effects felt intensely today, caused a paradigm shift in terms of management. The emergence of the new public administration understanding forced nation states to change. The necessity of restructuring the understanding of local and central administration has come to the fore. In order to take its place in the global system, Iran is trying to revise the classical public administration approach in accordance with the dynamics of globalization. In this study, the new public administration approach that emerged as a reflection of globalization and liberal economic model will be examined in general terms how it affected the administrative structure of Iran and especially the economic and political transformation experienced in this transition period.
