Abstract

The purpose of this chapter is to explore the impact that Management Information Systems (MIS) have on Human Resource Management (HRM) practices that are implemented within organisations. The management information system (MIS) has become an indispensable tool for streamlining human resource operations, enhancing efficiency, and increasing the quality of decision-making processes. The research focusses on the adoption and implementation of management information systems (MIS) in human resource management (HRM), as well as the evaluation of its influence on recruiting, performance management, training, and employee engagement. The study demonstrates considerable advances in HR practices that can be attributed to management information systems (MIS). The study was conducted using a mixed-method approach, which included surveys and interviews with HR experts from a variety of businesses.
