Abstract
Artificial intelligence constitutes one of the hottest topics in terms of new technological paradigms today. On the other side, agriculture, forestry, and fishery sectors play a key role for humanity since people's food are produced and needs of various sectors including medicine, textile, furniture and construction are met with the activities in these areas. In this context, it was inevitable that artificial intelligence has been integrated into these areas to enhance the efficiency, effectiveness, optimization, and fertility of agriculture, forestry and fishery activities, similar to previous technological developments such as mechanization and digitalization. Due to participatory, flexible, adaptive, and teachable features of artificial intelligence, artificial intelligence technologies and their applications has been implemented in these sectors for various purposes. In this chapter, the uses of artificial intelligence and the related technologies encompassed by Industry 4.0 paradigm in the field of agriculture, forestry, and fishery will be examined and discussed extensively.

TopResearch Methodology
In this study, the applications of artificial intelligence - machine learning methods and techniques and other related technologies belonging to the Industry 4.0 paradigm in the agriculture, forestry and fishery will be explained. In this direction, the agricultural and industrial revolutions experienced throughout human history will be explained first, and a general history of the paradigm, approach and understanding transformations in these areas will be presented. Then, the foundations of artificial intelligence - machine learning applications in terms of analytical - mathematical, epistemological and logical concepts will be discussed and a framework for the applications of these technologies in the fields of agriculture, forestry and fishery will be presented. Moreover, background information about the aim for which artificial intelligence - machine learning methods are implemented and other Industry 4.0-related technologies will be also given in this section. Finally, studies that constitute as examples of the use of these technologies in the fields of agriculture, forestry and fishing will be discussed in detail.
Key Terms in this Chapter
Artificial Intelligence: The transfer of human thinking, learning, and problem-solving competencies to information and communication systems, especially computers, using special algorithms.
Blockchain: A data storage, transmission and protection system with high cybersecurity level since it is decentralized and freer structure which is away from control, spreading the element of trust to the entire blockchain system and enabling its members and network using interdependent transactions due to its cryptographic structure.
Machine Learning: The algorithms, approaches, techniques and implementations used in artificial intelligence technologies in order to support it with ability to learn, solve and understand.
Internet-Of-Things: A global network of interconnected, uniquely addressable elements that are part of business, information, and social processes and that can communicate with one another using standard communication protocols.
Agriculture: Field or land tillage activities encompassing various related practices including cultivation, horticulture, arboriculture, vegeculture, domestication, pastoralism and transhumance.
Forestry: The science and practice of creation, management, planting, use, protection and conservation of forests and woodlands to obtain related resources for human and environmental benefits, regarding it is an interdisciplinary field that has connections with biology, botanic, zoology, psychics, chemistry, meteorology, geography, sociology, political science, public administration and business management.
Fishery: Raising or hunting fish and aquatic creatures in areas called fishing grounds, which are suitable for this activity, being carried out in streams such as rivers, and in stagnant waters such as lakes, seas and oceans.
