Abstract

Recently, studies on the relationship between strategic planning and crisis management have become a significant focus in management research, especially in light of the numerous crises that have occurred across various fields globally over the past few decades. These studies have shown the importance of strategic planning in crisis management. In this context, our research aims to study the relationship between these two concepts in the Moroccan context. An exploratory qualitative study conducted at a Moroccan public organization reveals a positive relationship between strategic planning and crisis management. This study also shows that coordination, decision-making methods, qualifications, and skills of personnel in the fields of strategy and crisis management significantly impact resilience and successful crisis management.
