Abstract

This opening chapter is designed to encourage readers to move into this book and to see the work of engaged scholars and scholar activists who will serve as role models for their work. For the experienced scholars, this chapter encourages them to see that they are not alone in the work and that networking on these important topics with scholars discussed in this chapter and throughout this book is possible.
