Abstract

The E-Resources have become integral part of collection development policy of libraries in the recent years. The current study was conducted to find out the use of electronic resources by the students in the S.D.V.S Sangh's Shri L. K. Khot College of Commerce, Sankeshwar. Objectives of this study is to determine the frequency of utilization, users while using electronic resources, to identify the purpose of use, and to find out the format which users usually prefer. The data was collected with the help of online survey based questionnaire and analysed by simple statistical method. According to the main findings of this research the students seems to be very interested in using electronic resources as it is one of their basic daily informational requirements because they use electronic resources for class assignments and to get updates about their related field. Besides this they also need to get trained for an effective use of these resources.
