Abstract

The chapter will give a broad overview of the changes in the well-being of individuals in the workplace during and post-pandemic. The chapter focuses on the problems faced by the people in the pandemic era, which has affected their physical and mental well-being, and some recommendations to be taken by them post-pandemic. The well-being term is complicated as the authors define it in many other ways. In simple words, well-being means dealing with how well a person's mind works and how happy a person is. The whole chapter consists of two major parts: First, based on the role, and second based on demographic factors. Based on role, there are two categories: employees, and employers and business owners. There are three demographic factors: Age, gender and sexuality, race and religion. In the end, two case studies of reputed organizations are given, which came up with innovative measures to improve employees' well-being.
