What is Cultural identity

Cultural identity
or identities is a complex construct to define insofar as the notion of human
identity
is shaped by several interconnected facets of life that are not always distinct, nor static. For the purposes of this study, however,
cultural identity
falls under the umbrella of general communities of practice among the selected international school educators teaching in IB programs.
Cultural
understanding and appreciation for the
cultural
diversity that exists across nations and the multiplicity of worldviews that results from it is essential to developing international-mindedness ( Hill, 2012 ).
