What is Linear Programmed Instruction / Learning

Encyclopedia of Information Science and Technology, Third Edition
A design whereby a series of frames are presented to the student in a specific sequential order. The student actively responds to stimuli in each frame and receives immediate feedback to that response. Learning results through operant conditioning.
