What is Reduct

Encyclopedia of Business Analytics and Optimization
A subset of features that results in the maximum dependency degree for a dataset, such that no feature can be removed without producing a decrease in this value. A dataset may be reduced to those features occurring in a reduct with no loss of information according to RST.
