Abstract
This chapter introduces the consciousness studies through caring for (attending-to) highly aged person (CFHAP). Also, it talks about the novel knowledge obtained through CFHAP on brain activities related to matters of a cerebrum and a cerebellum. Through a highly aged person's attending-to, it happened coincidentally that it was noticed curious brain behaviors in the from-awake-to-sleep process. They might be related with a consciousness state, mind, intention, attention, perception, recognition, understanding, and action. From these behaviors, it might be also possible to understand some of the brain mechanisms in a consciousness state and a mind state. In these regards, this chapter will show patient symptoms, bodily movements, and behaviors.
