IGI Global Scientific Publishing's Academic Librarian Sponsorship Program: Charleston Conference

At IGI Global Scientific Publishing, we are committed to "Publishing Tomorrow’s Research Today." As a long-time Charleston Conference exhibitor and sponsor, we are proud to continue our Academic Librarian Sponsorship Program dedicated to supporting librarians' attendance at this important event.

In the rapidly evolving higher education landscape, generative artificial intelligence (AI) technologies are transforming the way we approach teaching and learning. Staying at the forefront of these advancements is essential for librarians and educators.

As part of our ongoing commitment to professional growth and collaboration, IGI Global Scientific Publishing has selected four (4) librarians to each receive a $500 stipend for in-person attendance at the 2025 Charleston Conference, taking place November 3-7 in Charleston, South Carolina, USA.

During the conference, we invite you to visit us at Table #51 during the Vendor Showcase on November 4th. There, you can engage with Will Hartley, Director of Business Solutions to discuss

The Winners of the Academic Librarian Sponsorship Program will be awarded the $500 Sponsorship at the focus group lunch held on Wednesday, November 5th, 2025, hosted by IGI Global Scientific Publishing.

The Submission guidelines for entry:

Answer one of the following questions (Please restate the question you have chosen and include it with your response):

• In what ways has your library embraced or countered the “headwinds” of the demand for AI-driven discovery tools?
• How has your library set a course through the sea of abundant content to highlight materials that are both credible and impactful?
• How have you embraced optimism and resourcefulness to “sail into the wind” of unstable or declining funding while still meeting your patrons’ evolving needs?

Submission deadline for the Academic Librarian Sponsorship Program: Charleston Conference is September 25th, 2025.

Terms and Eligibility

The winners will each receive $500 to be used toward the conference. Applicants must be currently employed as a librarian at a standing institution and must be available to meet during the Charleston Conference.

Applications submitted after the deadline will not be considered. Limit one entry per person. International submissions are welcome.
