This journal anchors government policies and examines the characteristics of the emerging knowledge intensive economy and social environment. Open Source for Knowledge and Learning Management, Ubiquitous and Pervasive Knowledge Management, Intelligent Learning Infrastructures for Knowledge Intensive Organizations, and
Semantic Based Information Systems). He is the founder and officer of the Semantic Web and Information Systems Special Interest Group in the association for information systems (http://www.sigsemis.org). He serves as the (Co) Editor-in-Chief of 12 international journals (e.g.,
International Journal of Knowledge and Learning, International Journal of Technology Enhanced Learning, International Journal on Social and Humanistic Computing, International Journal on Semantic Web and Information Systems, International Journal on Digital Culture and Electronic Tourism, International Journal of Electronic Democracy, International Journal of Electronic Banking, and International Journal of Electronic Trade) while he is an associate editor or editorial board member of seven more.
Linda Daniela - Dr. Daniela is the professor and senior researcher at the University of Latvia; Chair of the Council for Promotion in Pedagogy of the University of Latvia; Head of the Scientific Institute of Pedagogy; Expert of Education at the Council of Sciences of the Republic of Latvia. Her research interests include virtual education, smart education, educational technologies for learning, educational robotics, educational processes and solutions for reducing social exclusion from the educational processes. Professor is an author and co-author of publications about processes in all dimensions of education. She has been involved in several projects, she is an editor and co-editor of several books and journals, and she is a scientific adviser for doctoral and master thesis.
