Peer Review

The peer review process is the driving force behind all IGI Global books and journals. All IGI Global reviewers maintain the highest ethical standards and each manuscript undergoes a rigorous double-anonymized peer review process, which is backed by our full membership to the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). The full publishing process and peer review are conducted within the IGI Global eEditorial Discovery® online submission system and on average takes 30 days. Learn More

IGI Global book and journal editors and authors are provided written guidelines and checklists that must be followed to maintain the high value that IGI Global places on the work it publishes. IGI Global reviewers are an important component of the scholarly process and therefore are instructed to provide comprehensive, detailed appraisals of work that they are reviewing to assist the author in improving the quality and usability of the presented research. It is the policy of IGI Global to maintain high ethical standards in all publications. These standards pertain to all books, journals, chapters, and articles accepted for publication. Review for This Journal
To apply to become a reviewer for an IGI Global journal, you must complete the ad hoc reviewer application form. As an ad hoc reviewer, you have the valuable opportunity to review some of the most advanced scholarly research manuscripts in the field and the overall success of the journal is dependent on your reviews. As such, ad hoc reviewers are appointed to serve for one year and upon completion of this term, ad hoc reviewers will have the potential to be promoted to a full editorial review board member based on the timeliness and quality of the reviews received.
