The study proposes and empirically validates a theoretical model suggesting that employee competency development during the onboarding period largely depends on the availability of knowledge sharing (KS) channels (both digital and traditional), on the KS culture experienced, and on employee satisfaction with the existing KS practices. The data for the study was collected using an online survey of a large pool of young public service employees working at various government agencies (n= 3,652 respondents). The results of a structural equation modeling analysis of the data provide support for the study's main premise. The implications of these results on the design of effective onboarding processes are discussed.

The knowledge-sharing, decision-making model can not only combine the two processes but also improve the teaching quality and students' learning achievements. However, the existing knowledge-sharing, decision-making model has many shortcomings. Therefore, for this article the authors applied the computer-aided instruction (CAI) system to the knowledge-sharing decision model and compared it with the traditional knowledge-sharing decision model. They compared and analyzed the application effects of the two processes in the student education management platform, and the experimental comparison was made from the perspective of curriculum and students. When the authors used the traditional knowledge-sharing decision model, the average score of the five people in the course A exam was 78.2. After they used the knowledge-sharing decision model based on the computer-aided instruction system, the average score of the five people in the course A exam was 85.4. Obviously, the knowledge-sharing, decision-making model based on the CAI system can effectively improve students' academic performances.

Yemeni banks are generally performing well in terms of their operations, but their performance needs to be enhanced and developed using knowledge management as there haven't been many studies done yet on them. This article, therefore, aims to investigate the effect of knowledge application (KA) and knowledge storage (KS) on bank performance (BP) of Yemeni banks with mediating role of fintech innovation (FI). A sample size of 360 respondents from the banks were selected for the study. The authors used a Partial least squares structural equation modelling (PLS-SEM) to analyse the data. The study reveals that KA and KS positively and significantly impact bank performance. In addition, fintech innovation positively and significantly meadiates the relationship between KA, KS, and BP. This highlights the importance of FI in the effective use of knowledge and its impact on BP. This exploratory study delves into three private international schools' knowledge management (KM) practices amidst the Covid-19 pandemic. Utilizing Gold et al.'s KM framework, the research examines the applicability of this model in the unique industrial context of international schools and explores the potential influence of KM on organizational performance within this context. The findings highlight that teachers proficient in articulating KM processes and infrastructure perceive their schools as more successful in the international education landscape. As schools transition back to in-person learning, leaders and stakeholders are urged to evaluate their KM practices and consider targeted initiatives to cultivate specific competencies, fostering a sustainable competitive advantage and enhancing both financial and non-financial firm performance. This study's originality lies in examining KM practices in international schools during the pandemic, stimulating conversations among school leaders and stakeholders to optimize knowledge management in the post-pandemic era.

Despite the increased efforts of organisations to implement knowledge management (KM) initiatives, many fail. Performing a knowledge audit before embarking on KM activities increases the probability of success. In this interpretive case study, the authors applied a modified version of the knowledge audit methodology developed by Perez-Soltero et al. to a South African (SA) veterinary medicine, fine chemical, and pharmaceutical manufacturer. The authors engaged members of the organisation in focus group sessions and individual interviews to identify knowledge assets related to core processes within the organisation. They used the data from the focus groups and individual interviews to identify and articulate many of the knowledge assets at the core of the organisation's current success. In addition, the process of conducting a knowledge audit and making the steps explicit while adjusting for context, may inform researchers and practitioners in terms of knowledge audit approach.

Knowledge management system infrastructure is at the forefront of knowledge management practice. Knowledge must be identified, captured, and shared to improve KM practices; however, little is known about the successful implementation of KMS infrastructure by Namibian mobile telecommunications companies. This mixed-methods research study employed a convergent parallel design and parallel sampling techniques. Three hundred and nine online questionnaires were distributed to a representative sample, with a response rate of 57%. Computer software packages were used to analyse quantitative data quantitatively, and qualitative data from interviews with 11 participants and analysis of documents were analysed thematically. Findings showed that infrastructure, management support, and employee participation were necessary for a successful KMS infrastructure implementation for effective and efficient KM practices. The study provides MT companies with a foundational understanding of how the infrastructure for KMS is essential for effective and efficient KM practice.

Many companies look for novel ways to trace their operational sustainability. The application of AI to analyze and make sense of the big data the company holds represents one promising approach for this aim. The authors study how one can set and design an AI-based solution for improving the sustainability of complex business processes and decision-making in companies of different types. First, they provide a general analysis of current frameworks for measuring adherence to sustainability goals for companies, then they present a conceptual framework and architecture design for an AI-enabled sustainability service for companies. The implications of our research suggest that AI can provide distinct functions: (a) automation: taking big data from different departments and analyzing them with the aim of tracing the sustainability of the company; (b) support: to help decision-making and create relevant insights for stakeholders that are coherent with defined sustainability decision criteria. To the authors' knowledge, no previous research has provided analysis and design of such AI solution for companies.
