IGI Global is again partnering with the Bavarian Consortium, a leading library consortium across Germany, for a second year to offer discounted pricing to member libraries on e-Collections offerings.
The discounts are available on the
IGI Global e-Book Collection and all four
Knowledge Solutions Collections through perpetual and EBA flexible acquisition models. The collaboration provides Bavarian Consortium member libraries with opportunities to provide their faculty with high-quality, peer-reviewed research.
If your institution is a member of the Bavarian Consortium and you are interested in learning more about how to participate, or for more information regarding IGI Global’s flexible consortia agreements, contact Brittany Haynes, Director of e-Collections at
bhaynes@igi-global.com.
Additionally, non-member institutional libraries that are interested in benefiting from a consortia agreement, are invited to meet with IGI Global and connect us with your consortia leadership.
About the Bavarian Consortium
The "Bayern-Konsortium" (Bavarian Consortium) is an alliance of libraries with the aim of purchasing licenses for the use of databases, electronic journals and e-books collectively. The group of potential participants includes the university libraries, the libraries of universities of applied science, the state-funded regional libraries as well as the Bayerische Staatsbibliothek, which is at the same time responsible for centrally conducting negotiations in close cooperation with the participating libraries.
