To empower and promote the research of respected experts in the Hispanic and Latine community, we would like to highlight our Hispanic and Latine contributors as we celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month. There are over 250 research books from IGI Global Scientific Publishing that are led by Hispanic and Latine researchers, exploring a wide variety of research topics, including the three major subject fields of Business and Management; Science, Technology, & Medicine (STM); and Education & Social Sciences.
Hispanic Heritage Month is an annual celebration that recognizes the history, culture, and contributions of individuals who have an ancestral background from Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean, Central America, and South America. Hispanic Heritage Month serves to honor the impact of Hispanic and Latine communities on U.S. history, culture, arts, politics, science, and more. The month often highlights themes such as identity, resilience, family, activism, and cultural pride, and it includes events like cultural festivals, art exhibits, community celebrations, and more
To speak on the importance of celebrating Hispanic and Latine researchers, hear from award-winning editor, Dr. Angello Villarreal:

"As a dedicated advocate for diversity in academia, I firmly believe that highlighting the contributions of Hispanic researchers and educators is essential for fostering a more inclusive and innovative-educational and stronger community. By recognizing their groundbreaking work in underrepresented fields such as bilingual pedagogy, mental health, STEM, and educational leadership and equity, we not only celebrate their achievements but also inspire future generations of scholars. These fields, often overlooked, are critical for addressing the unique challenges faced by all communities and but also those marginalized in educational systems. Elevating Hispanic researchers helps bridge equity gaps, spikes different approaches and focus, promotes partnering with our very own communities, and enriches the academic landscape with diverse perspectives that drive transformative progress. Their voices and expertise are vital for shaping opportunities, curricula, and practices that empower ALL students and create a more equitable society.
You Can’t Be Who You Can’t See - It is our duty to be the trailblazers to ALL students."
- Dr. Angello Villarreal (Freehold Regional High School District, USA)
