Why Have Previous Educational Reforms Been Missing the Mark?

Education Has not Improved in 30 Years

By IGI Global on Feb 9, 2023
0 The education reform movement resulted in one of Western society’s first “socialistic” (some say radically decentralized) systems of education, and started much earlier than many may realize. Educational reform is an ongoing process, with different methods trending over others at different periods, but often these fail to teach students who really need help. With constantly shifting, failed, and outdated teaching trends, how do we ensure that students receive an education that provides the stability needed to create a more equitable society? The established reference book The Handbook of Research on Social Inequality and Education (ISBN: 9781522591085), published by IGI Global, showcases expert perspectives from seven countries into social influences on school and educational settings.
