Following up the announcement of recently converting over 30 journals to full Gold OA, IGI Global has opened up to two volume years’ worth of the content within these fully OA resources. Through this effort, over 300 articles are now freely accessible online and provide the academic community with peer-reviewed research across 11 core academic subject areas, including business, computer science, education, medical and healthcare, science and engineering, social sciences, and more.
“This is in an effort to better serve the academic research community and support the global initiative to freely share high-quality research,” explained Ms. Lindsay Wertman, Managing Director of IGI Global. “This will greatly increase the visibility and reach of our author’s work and will support higher citation impact which also benefits the journal’s indexing inclusion, impact factor, and overall recognition.”
To view all of the journals that recently had content opened view IGI Global Converts Over 30 Journals to Full Gold Open Access (OA). All of the journals are also seeking submission.
Among Articles that Were Converted to Gold OA: All of IGI Global's OA content is available through the InfoSci-Open database (a full collection of all IGI Global's OA content). This database can be easily integrated into library discovery systems and access has been granted to all IGI Global Portal Account users through their personal electronic library. - “AI4People: Ethical Guidelines for the Automotive Sector – Fundamental Requirements and Practical Recommendations”
