About Editor
Michael K. Cundall, Jr. Ph.D., Associate Professor of Philosophy. He has been researching humor for nearly two decades and published on topics ranging from the cognition of humor, racist and ethnic humor, and humor in the workplace. His company, Mirth Management works with organizations to improve morale, engagement, using humor to empower people to be more creative and engaged in their work. When not teaching or doing research, he can be found woodworking, or doing some less than ready for primetime comedy routines.
Stephanie Kelly, Ph.D., Associate Professor of Communication. She is a presence scholar, meaning she studies the nebulous things that happen in people’s minds between a message being sent and received. This means her work spans contexts, but she usually researches interactions that take place in instruction, business, or health. Outside of research, she spends a lot of time reading things that have no contribution to her research whatsoever, preferably with a good monster, vampire, or fae character.
