IGI Global Announces Diamond Sponsorship for the 2018 Annual Charleston Conference

For the tenth year in a row, IGI Global is proud to announce that they will be a diamond sponsor for the 2018 Charleston Conference taking place in Charleston, South Carolina on November 5-9, 2018.

Dr. Mehdi Khosrow-Pour, President and Caroline Campbell, Marketing Manager will be representing the international academic publisher at the conference. Visit them at table #71 during the vendor showcase and learn more about IGI Global’s dedication to librarians and furthering the dissemination of research.

Additionally, Dr. Khosrow-Pour will be hosting a Neapolitan session titled “Sustainable Open Access Approaches: Benefits for Researchers, Librarians, and Publishers” on November 8th at 10:30 a.m. in the Grand Ballroom 1, Gaillard Center (95 Calhoun Street, Charleston, SC 29401).

Attendees will hear viewpoints from publishers, a librarian, as well as an independent researcher on current challenges and opportunities presented within the Open Access movement, and ways that everyone can come together to achieve a result that provides credible and trusted publishing outlets for researchers, the highest quality peer-reviewed contents for libraries, an affordable pricing model for article processing charges (APC), and sustainability for publishers. Continuing IGI Global’s dedication to providing librarians with innovative resources, they are continuing their Academic Librarian Sponsorship Program, which sponsors librarians’ attendance of the Charleston Conference.
