IGI Global is proud to announce the winners of the Fifth Annual Excellence in Research Journal Awards, celebrating the best articles from the 2012 volume year.

Fostering EFL College Students’ Register Awareness: Writing Online Forum Posts and Traditional Essays", featured in the International Journal of Computer-Assisted Language Learning and Teaching (IJCALLT), written by Ching-Fen Chang of the National Chiao Tung University in Taiwan.

"On-Line Approaches to Data Delivery and Visualisation in Landscape Planning and Management", featured in the International Journal of E-Planning Research (IJEPR), written by Ian D. Bishop of the University of Melbourne, Australia.

"Estimating Residential Carbon Footprints for an American City", featured in the International Journal of Applied Geospatial Research (IJAGR), written by Matthew H. Connolly, Ronald R. Hagelman, and Sven Fuhrmann, all of whom are part of the Department of Geography at Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas, USA.

"An Automated Workforce Clustering Method for Business Process Reengineering in Research and Development Organizations", featured in the International Journal of Information Technology Project Management (IJITPM), written by Madjid Tavana of the School of Business, La Salle University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA, Alex F. Sisti of the Air Force Research Laboratory, in Rome, New York, and Dawn A. Trevisani also of the Air Force Research Laboratory in Rome, New York.

"Revisiting Media Choice: A Behavioral Decision-Making Perspective", featured in the International Journal of e-Collaboration (IJeC), written by H. S. Bok, A. Kankanhalli, and K. S. Raman of the National University of Singapore, Singapore, and V. Sambamurthy of Michigan State University, USA.

"Quality Implications of the Medical Applications for 4G Mobile Phones", featured in the International Journal of Reliable and Quality E-Healthcare (IJRQEH), written by Anastasia Kastania of Athens University of Economics and Business, Greece, and Anastasius Moumtzoglou of the Hellenic Society for Quality and Safety in Healthcare, European Society for Quality in Healthcare, Greece.

"Attribute Decoration of Attack–Defense Trees", featured in the International Journal of Secure Software Engineering (IJSSE), written by Alessandra Bagnato of TXT e-solutions, Italy, Barbara Kordy and and Patrick Schweitzer of the University of Luxembourg in Luxembourg, and Per Håkon Meland of SINTEF ICT, Norway.

"Gender Differences in Interface Type Task Analysis", featured in the International Journal of Information Systems and Social Change (IJISSC), written by Raafat George Saadé and Dennis Kira, both of Concordia University, Canada, and Camille Alexandre Otrakji of Sigmawave Inc., Canada.
