IGI Global is pleased to announce that we have entered into a new
Open Access (OA) agreement with Fayetteville State University, a public, historically black university based in North Carolina, USA, for 2023. Fayetteville State University, has invested in an OA fund to support their faculty and staff’s research through our Open Access Agreement option, which provides funding for Article Processing Charges (APCs) that will be utilized by the university’s faculty to publish their research under OA with IGI Global.
Fayetteville State University is supporting their faculty’s research and is leading the OA Movement through this agreement. After undergoing our rigorous double-blind peer review process, their faculty's accepted research published under OA will gain increased discoverability and higher citation impact while contributing to crucial bodies of emerging knowledge and adding to their institutional repository of high-quality publications.
With the increased interest in OA publishing, we are prepared to have a conversation around our flexible OA agreements and transformative OA options. We encourage other libraries to meet with us to learn how their faculty members can benefit from an Open Access Agreement. To read about how your institution can be the next to support the OA movement through an IGI Global OA Agreement, read more on our
Open Access Agreements & Transformative Options webpage. If you are ready to discuss these options with us, you can request a face-to-face meeting with our eResources Team (
