March 24 2015, Hershey, PA – IGI Global, an international publisher of progressive academic research, is proud to announce a new open access initiative allowing individuals and institutions unrestricted access to content published in scholarly, peer-reviewed publications.

Unlike traditional subscription-based publishing models, open access content is available without having to purchase or subscribe to the book or journal in which the content is published. In order to better serve the academic community and meet the needs of our authors, IGI Global is pleased to join the Open Access movement by bringing the Hybrid Open Access model to several of its established subscription-based journals.
