IGI Global also offers the ability to publish any of its formats as Open Access. Unlike traditional publishing, wherein there are no publishing fees, Open Access publishing does require a Book Processing Charge (BPC) to be paid by a funding body. This covers the cost of the publishing services that are used to produce the book, and allows for the CC BY 4.0 license to be used, which allows authors to retain the copyright to their work and to freely disseminate, post, and share it wherever they wish upon publication. For more information on Open Access book publishing, please see the Open Access Publishing page or contact the Acquisitions Department at acquisition@igi-global.com.
Please note that IGI Global continues to publish its standard edited and authored references, case books, Handbooks of Research, and Encyclopedias formats and is still accepting proposals for all formats for the 2022 copyright year (to be published between July 1, 2021 and June 30, 2022). Please fill out and submit the online book proposal form to get started on your next book project.
