IGI Global Now Offering Direct E-Book Fulfillment through GOBI3

January 24, 2014, Hershey, PA – IGI Global, an international publisher of progressive academic research, is pleased to announce a partnership with YBP Library Services (YBP), the academic division of Baker & Taylor. IGI Global will now be utilizing its own award-winning InfoSci® online platform to offer direct access to its extensive line of e-books ordered through GOBI3 (Global Online Bibliographic Information), YBP’s acquisition and collection management interface. This integration will significantly streamline the IGI Global title selection and fulfillment process through the GOBI3 interface, allowing librarians even more ordering flexibility than ever before.

IGI Global Now Offering Direct E-Book Fulfillment Through GOBI3 "Content acquisition has always been a daunting task for our customers," Justin North, Director of Information Technologies and Communication at IGI Global, said of the partnership. "Providing the ability to acquire IGI Global titles directly through GOBI3 will greatly streamline these efforts.
