ICIR Partnership IGI Global is proud to partner with the Convergent Research Society Among Humanities, Sociology, Science and Technology (HSST) and theInternational Academic Consulting and Service (IACS). This partnership was created to encourage high-quality information science and technology research throughout Korea.

This year the research collaboration between HSST, IACS, and IGI Global included twenty workshops offered by HSST and IACS throughout South Korea and three international conferences. In 2017, IGI Global, HSST and IACS have planned a series of special issues in the IGI Global journal collection of 166 titles to share information from these events. A mentoring program for graduate students and faculty interested in scholarly publishing in leading information science and technology journals has been implemented to strengthen the partnership.

HSST and IACS’ President Dr. Tai-hoon Kim commented, “The partnership is a milestone in HSST and IACS's efforts in becoming an international society for supporting distinguished scholars and students researching science and technology. Resources from IGI Global provide incredible support in the research of scholars and students. The collaboration between HSST, IACS and IGI Global will also provide access for academic, industry and government associations to cutting-edge research materials and services.”

HSST and IACS were founded by the Institute of Convergence Education, South Korea, in order to support distinguished scholars and students who are researching various areas of science and technology.
