Baker & Taylor logoHershey, Pennsylvania (USA) - IGI Global Scientific Publishing, dedicated to "Publishing Tomorrow's Research Today" since 1988, announced the termination of its distribution agreement with Baker & Taylor and its Print-On-Demand subsidiary, Bookmasters, effective September 3, 2025. The decision was made in response to Baker & Taylor’s ongoing inconsistency and financial instability.
As of August 18, 2025, all IGI Global Scientific Publishing orders submitted through Baker & Taylor were placed on hold. At that time, Baker & Taylor was instructed to classify all incoming requests as “back orders” and suspend production and distribution until their financial situation was resolved.
