IGI Global Teams up with ProQuest to Sell E-Books through the New OASIS Platform

September 21, 2016, Hershey, PA – IGI Global is pleased to announce that e-books can now be purchased through OASIS (Online Acquisitions and Selection Information System), ProQuest's newly released purchasing platform. Along with Wiley and UPSO, IGI Global was selected among the first group of publishers to be showcased in this program, due to the demand for IGI Global’s peer-reviewed reference titles and demonstrated leadership in advanced e-resources.

Over 3,200 emerging information science and technology books in 11 subject areas are available for purchase in OASIS, ProQuest’s free web-based system for searching, selecting, and ordering print and electronic books for academic libraries.

IGI Global’s Information Technology and Communication team has worked alongside ProQuest to integrate IGI Global products into their one-click purchasing platform and make publications available for integration into the desired database platform. Featuring no DRM, unlimited simultaneous users, RSS feeds, and persistent URLs, IGI Global e-books remain at the forefront of progressive academic e-resources.

IGI Global's Director of Information Communication and Technology, Justin North, commented: "We are always excited to implement technological solutions that better streamline the workflows of our librarians. This integration provides a seamless ordering process for the librarian and delivers real-time access to their patrons on our InfoSci platform.
