Technology is an integral part of everyday life and society is extremely reliant on it to carry out even the most basic of daily tasks. Technology is becoming increasingly more intelligent and continues to accelerate at a rapid pace, a speed that outmatches the rate at which new technological innovations are being published. In this technology-driven 21st Century world we live in, keeping up to date on the latest technology is a necessity, and keeps us glued to our phones, browsing the web, and navigating through various applications. No individual, company, or institution can progress forward without being emerged in technology, and most importantly being on the “up and up” on what is yet to come.
Together with IGI Global, Dr. Mincong Tang from the International Center for Informatics Research (ICIR), Beijing Jiatong University (China) collaborated to launch one of IGI Global’s newest gold open access (OA) journals, the Journal of Technological Advancements (JTA). In addition to Beijing Jiatong University (China), the journal represents leadership and contributions from many well-known institutions including The University of New Mexico (USA), Lakehead University (Canada), University of Calabria (Italy), University of Crete (Greece), University of Minnesota (USA), and Covenant University (Nigeria), to name just
a few.
Since its 2021 inauguration, the
Journal of Technological Advancements has been aimed at publishing authoritative research on the most innovative technological breakthroughs covering a very broad range of topics including artificial intelligence, virtual reality, nanotechnology, quantum computing, Internet of Things (IoT), engineering science, security, medicine, and much more.
