New Open Access Journal Aims to Improve Educational Effectiveness Via Information Technologies

IJTEE Technology is impacting education now more than ever. This stems from not only the rapid increase of technology use in the classroom, but the urgent need for students and teachers to be able to easily connect from a distance when in-person teaching and learning is not possible.
To keep up with these advancing trends in education, IGI Global recently launched its newest fully Gold OA journal, the International Journal of Technology-Enhanced Education (IJTEE), edited by Dr. Zhonggen Yu from Beijing Language and Culture University, Beijing, China. IJTEE publishes high-quality research and practical articles that focus on how to improve educational effectiveness and efficiency using information technologies. mission is to advance the understanding and practice within technology-enhanced education, aiming to expand on theories, ideas, opinions, pedagogical designs, and suggestions. It welcomes research that highlights various educational outcomes enhanced by computer or digital technologies including Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs), Small Private Online Courses (SPOCs), social media (Rain Classroom, WeChat, QQ, Sino, Weibo, Twitter, Facebook Messenger, Instagram, YouTube, WhatsApp), blogs, applications, mobile platforms, and/or other advanced technologies.
